Dosing CBD by goal: sleep, focus, recovery, anxiety, pain

Five common goals, five different starting doses, and the ladder we recommend before you escalate. Calibrated to the conservative end of the literature.

The most useful thing we can tell a first-time customer is that the same product hits different at different doses. Sleep dosing isn't focus dosing. Recovery dosing isn't anxiety dosing. The literature gives us workable starting points; here's how we translate them into product picks.

Sleep: 25–50mg sublingual 45 min before bed, ideally CBD+CBN (look for our Sleep Tincture). Focus: 10–15mg in the morning, full-spectrum daytime tincture. Recovery: 25mg post-workout + topical on the loaded joints. Anxiety: 15–25mg as needed; if daily, our capsules give you consistent levels. Pain: highly individual — start at 25mg sublingual, add topical at the site.

Always check with a doctor if you're on prescription medication — CBD interacts with the same liver enzymes (CYP3A4) as many common drugs.
