Verde Notes
Behind a Verde COA: what we test, who tests it, and the line that matters most
We send every batch to an independent ISO 17025 lab. Here's the line you should be checking before you read the cannabinoid table.
The Certificate of Analysis (COA) you can scan on every Verde product is more than a marketing prop. It's our quality gate. Before we accept a delivery from the farm in Boulder, we run a five-panel test: cannabinoid profile, pesticide screen, heavy metals, residual solvents, and microbial.
The line most customers look at first — total CBD content — isn't actually the most important one. The line we look at first is Pass on the pesticide screen. We've rejected batches over trace pyrethroids that came in below the federal threshold but above our internal limit. That's where the integrity is.
